Alan Cavanagh BSc, DC, LCC
Born and raised in Dublin, Alan moved to Edinburgh in 2002 after obtaining his chiropractic qualifications from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan.
Initially, Alan worked for Leah Healthcare Services at their Dundas Street and Comiston Road chiropractic clinics. After 3 years at the latter, he decided to take up the opportunity and challenges of practicing independently. Albion Healthcare was incorporated to takeover that Leah Clinic, and Morningside Chiropractic Clinic was formed as a result.
He has practiced in Morningside ever since and has thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of the neighbourhood; getting to know many of its residents, shopkeepers and characters alike. Alan’s first introduction to chiropractic was when he witnessed the positive effect that it had on his father’s back pain, helping him to avoid a scheduled surgery. He has since continued to see the many benefits that chiropractic can offer, both as patient and practitioner. Alan is the only BUPA registered chiropractor in the clinic.
He has a keen interest in rugby (espeicailly if Leinster ot Ireland are involved), cricket and golf and continues to play hockey in the local leagues.
Vicky Pittman MChiro DC
Vicky is originally from the South of England but is now thoroughly enjoying life living in Edinburgh. She graduated with a Masters of Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan and she previously attained a BSc (Hons) in sports therapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 2004. Since that time she has worked with elite artistic gymnasts providing both prehabilitative and rehabilitative care ensuring that they are functionally fit and able to perform to their best capabilities. This has further served to strengthen her interest and knowledge of the integral workings of the human body.
After graduating Vicky developed a special interest in pre and post partum care and has attended a range of postgraduate pregnancy courses. She has also trained in western acupuncture (dry needling) and developed many taping skills.
Whilst growing up Vicky was actively involved in many sports at county level, but her main passion laid in artistic gymnastics. She was a member of both regional and national squads and had a successful career spanning a decade winning medals nationally and internationally. She was inspired to join the chiropractic profession after receiving successful chiropractic treatment for a problematic ongoing back injury which nearly ended her career.
Laura Nuttall DC; MChiro ; CCEP; FMS
After graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic (WIOC), Laura initially practised in Fife before heading up to Aberdeenshire. While gaining extensive experience in treating a variety of conditions as well as seeing patients of all ages, it was here where Laura started her post graduate training in paediatrics. After several years working in Aberdeenshire, Laura decided to move to Edinburgh to help meet the high demand for paediatric chiropractic care in the Lothians.
In 2014 Laura travelled to Canada to study and get certified in Functional Movement System (FMS). She is also certified as a Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (CCEP) - an advanced certification in extremity adjusting, in addition to being able to perform Western Acupuncture techniques where she gained certification from the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Having grown up near St. Andrews, Laura has always been surrounded by the world of golf. Continuingly seeing patients who were avid golfers, Laura decided to investigate the role of body biomechanics played in the golfers swing. What started as a curious interest took on 3 years of studying, the end result being the launch of her Golf Injury Clinic www.golfinjuryclinic.co.uk

Hello, I am Rosemary McCulloch, after 35 years working for the government latterly in Human Resources I took an early exit and shortly afterwards started my work here as a part time receptionist.
I have always enjoyed working with people and my role here allows me to engage with a wide number of patients and contribute my part to a small friendly team. It is interesting to see the effects that the treatments have on patients and the differences it makes to them. In my spare time I enjoy participating and watching all sport, walking and trying out new food recipes.
