After nearly 10 years practicing from the same location in Morningside, the clinic moved in 2011 – but only a hundred yards down Comiston Road! We purchased a Victorian main door premises and undertook a complete refurbishment in order to provide, what we believe to be, some of the most comfortable and contemporary chiropractic facilities around Edinburgh. We appreciate that many of our patients initially present to us when they are experiencing a great deal of pain and discomfort. It is for that reason that every effort has been made to create a pleasant and calming environment when you are with us. Furthermore, to help give you a better understanding about what will happen at this stage, we have put together some information on what to expect on your first visit.
Awards
In January 2014 we were delighted to be awarded our first Patient Parthership Quality Mark from the Royal College of Chiropractors. This quality mark (achieved by only eight other clinics in the whole of Scotland) is awarded to clinics that demonstrate excellence in meeting patient expectations in a range of areas. The award of the Patient Partnership Quality Mark recognises this clinic’s commitment to meeting the expectations our patients have when they visit us for advice and treatment. Our aim is to continually improve our levels of service and we always welcome feedback from our patients to help us achieve this.
Accessibility
Every effort has also been taken to make the clinic as accessible as possible to those who may require a little extra help. We have wheelchair ramps and hearing induction loop services available as well as disabled toilet facilities. Please contact us if you have particular needs or concerns and we will make arrangements as needed.
Reception & Waiting Area
Reception is fully staffed during opening hours, and you can be assured your phone call or email enquiry will be answered promptly. Our reception staff are welcoming and friendly, and the waiting area is pleasant with a large selection of reading material available. There is also a box with some toys and colouring books to try and help keep any little ones entertained!
Treatment Rooms
We have 3 fully equipped chiropractic treatment rooms – one of which is also used for sports massage therapy. All three rooms provide complete privacy.
